Here + There.

It feels like winter is already in Reno! I used to hate cold weather and snow but now it creates a whimsical and romantic feel for me. Most likely because two years ago during winter time I started hanging out with this cool guy named Benjamin. We went to a few local shows, visited book stores and went for walks in the snow. It was an exciting time of butterflies, nervousness and "I kind of like you a lot" conversations. This weather just reminds me so much of our first time together, our first duplex and just how lovely my husband is. It's a wonderful time of year and we're excited for what this winter will bring!

Here are some snapshots as of late.
Panda Express has been putting out some pretty demanding "fortune" cookies lately. Don't tell me what to do, Panda!
Benjamin and I drove up to Tahoe to lead musical worship at our church campus up there. We ran into this beautiful mist on the way up!
I have been reading Colossians a lot lately. It's always been one of my favorite books but I've finally started doing an in-depth study of it. Also featured here is my most recent quilt! It's a Halloween quilt with some adorable fabric.
This was our set up at Grace Church Tahoe. Our set didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped but God was still glorified. We still had a few people come up and tell us they were blessed by it. That truly is all that matters. It's hard as musicians (And I think as humans) to put aside our pride and expectations of "perfection" and to just focus on people connecting with God.
We've also been spending a lot of time at Benjamin's dad's house. They have been redoing the roof and they finished just before the weather turned bad! It was really great timing. He has a wonderful house with a large backyard. It's a very quiet neighborhood and we love to visit and spend time with his dad.
